Manajemen Nyeri Punggung dan Peningkatan Kualitas Tidur Pada Lansia Dengan Rheumatik Melalui Aplikasi Modern Tuina Massage Berbasis Natural Therapy
Abstract
lansia dengan rheumatik dan berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup. Terapi nonfarmakologis seperti pijat komplementer menjadi alternatif yang aman dan efektif untuk mengatasi keluhan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas Pijat Tuina dan Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM) terhadap penurunan nyeri punggung dan peningkatan kualitas tidur pada lansia dengan rheumatik. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif pretest–posttest dengan kelompok kontrol. Sampel terdiri dari 100 lansia yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok Pijat Tuina dan kelompok SSBM. Intervensi diberikan dua kali seminggu selama empat minggu. Nyeri punggung diukur menggunakan The Low Back Outcome Scale (LBOS) dan Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), sedangkan kualitas tidur diukur menggunakan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan penurunan nyeri punggung dan peningkatan kualitas tidur yang signifikan pada kedua kelompok (p = 0,000). Uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan bahwa Pijat Tuina lebih efektif dibandingkan SSBM dalam menurunkan nyeri punggung dan meningkatkan kualitas tidur (p = 0,000). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah Pijat Tuina merupakan terapi komplementer yang lebih efektif dan direkomendasikan dalam penanganan nyeri punggung dan gangguan tidur pada lansia dengan rheumatik.
